The Kitchen on Food Network

From 2019 to 2022, I was an Associate Producer on The Kitchen, a live weekly food and talk show on Food Network hosted by Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, and Geoffrey Zakarian. The show was produced by BSTV Entertainment and ran for 40 seasons, covering everything from simple recipes and food trends to trivia, guest interviews, and viewer questions, airing every Saturday morning to a national audience.

Working on a weekly network show is a different kind of production rhythm. Every episode had to come together on a tight recurring schedule, and my role touched nearly every part of that process.

Day to day I was researching and pitching segments, developing rundowns and pre-production calendars, booking and pre-interviewing guests, briefing on-air talent, writing scripts and shot lists, and supporting both in-studio and field production days. I also coordinated post-production elements including clearances and social assets, and handled episodic on-set and beauty photography.

My role: Associate Producer, responsible for segment producing, talent coordination, guest booking, pre-production, and on-set support.
